This year's Turkey Trot Run will help support the Wema Centre in Mombasa, Kenya.  The Wema Centre is an NGO that plays a critical role in transforming the lives of street connected children. Since its inception in 1993, over 10,000 children have been helped by the Wema Centre with programs that provide education, nutrition, health, shelter, psychosocial services and family re-unification.  

 

Our goal is to raise $15,000 through pledges to fund high school education for 20 children that cannot afford the essentials required to go to local high school (i.e. books, school uniforms, shoes, food). Please consider making a donation through registration, or supporting a runner (or team). 100% of pledges collected by the Rotary Burlington North Foundation through the Run will be donated to the Wema Centre in Mombasa, Kenya.
